REDMOND, Wash., Dec. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Straight Line Enterprises, Inc. today announced that Michael Gai has been named Chief Executive Officer. David Jarzynka will become President. Also announced today, Straight Line Water Sports, Inc. will become Straight Line Enterprises, Inc., reflecting the company's new cross- seasonal business focus and its diversification into winter sports equipment manufacturing. Mr. Gai, a co-founder, has served as Director of the company for Straight Line's full nine year history. He has also served as Vice President (1986-90), President (1990-95) and as Chairman of the Board, (October 1993-to present). Since it's inception, Mr. Gai has been instrumental in directing, designing, and implementing operational, financial, sales and marketing strategies. David Jarzynka will become Straight Line's President and assume responsibility for the overall administration and operations of the company. He will continue to serve as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for Straight Line. Prior to joining Straight Line, Mr. Jarzynka served as the Senior Vice President of Finance/Chief Financial Officer of K2 Corporation, a subsidiary of Anthony Industries. From 1978 to 1990, he served in various financial capacities for Simplex Products, a division of Anthony Industries, Inc.
