"In addition, we are asking USSA to participate in the umbrella organizational program proposed at the USSA Spring meeting," stated Fawcett. The "umbrella organization proposed was to have equal representation by USSA, USASA, PSA-NA, and the Industry on one board of directors to oversee snowboarding in the U.S.. "This proposal is designed to allow each organization to retain its autonomy and function independently while coordinating their efforts through one central body with equal representatives from each organization," said Ted Martin, President & CEO of ISF and PSA North America. Further states Martin, "This system has proven successful with the reorganization of U.S. Cycling and it appears that it would be a beneficial structure for snowboarding and all of the various organizations involved in and/or effected by the sport." The PSA-North America is a U.S. non-profit Corporation (501(c)4) and acts as the voice of the North American Professional riders. Rider board members include Mark Fawcett, Kenyon Robinson, Michele Taggart, Adam Hostetter, Shannon Melhuse, Lisa Kosglow, Amy Lundstrom and Tara Masterpool.
